The error messages on the rare Blue Screen of Death crashes on Windows are often cryptic, and like everything Windows 10 Microsoft is trying to make it a bit more user friendly.
The latest build of Windows 10, 14316, now includes a QRCode that could potentially carry more information about the error. Unfortunately at present the QRCode is simple a shortcut to the windows.com/stopcode site, which helps users with common BSOD causes.
The QRCode is also less useful due to the brief period it is displayed, with most PCs set to automatically reboot after a Blue screen.
Hopefully this is just a feature in early development, and Microsoft could make it a bit more useful in the future.
