[Sobre o Windows 10] Microsoft working on “Picture in Picture” feature for Windows 10

Windows 10 Anniversary Update is expected to introduce a tonne of new features and improvements later this summer. Microsoft is working on improvements for Continuum, Cortana, Action Center, and even the Start Menu for the Anniversary Update.

With the Anniversary Update, Microsoft could possibly introduce a nice new feature called “Picture in Picture” for Windows 10. According to Microsoft’s official roadmap for Windows 10, the feature will be available for Windows 10 PCs and Tablets only, but it could be coming to Windows 10 Mobile in the future. While this feature may not be very useful in PCs, it can come in quite handy on tablets.

For now, there is not much information about the Picture in Picture features as Microsoft simply stated:
Monitor media content while focusing on other tasks.
A similar feature is also available on Apple’s iOS 9 (for iPads only), and it is also called Picture in Picture. On iOS 9, (some) iPad owners can overlay a media content such as a video from YouTube over other apps, or parts of the operating system. The feature allows users to interact with the app in the background while watching the video, which is a nice little feature. Here is a video showing the feature in action on iOS  9:

As this feature is still in development, Microsoft may not introduce this with the Anniversary Update for Windows 10. Instead, this could be coming with Redstone 2, which is expected to arrive next year as a free upgrade for Windows 10.
